Whoa! Look, it's the fan-favorite of the Game! Set! Match! girls! Hot on the heels of her predecessor Bren [link] we continue to fill out the Caspian High team with an appearance of Jill!

Jill was an upset in last year's team tryouts, a dark horse first year student she somehow managed to top a fair few of the Squad 1 girls, getting ousted to second squad only because of the machinations of the Squad 1 captain. Nonetheless, Jill found her prodigious talent at home on Caspian High's Second Squad, where she dropped many a jaw by playing against expectations with her deft natural ability.

The only downside to Jill's tremendous innate ability is that it coincides with a genuine apathy towards training and, indeed, workouts. It comes as no real surprise that the youngest of the squad should also happen to be the... er, biggest. Never volunteering for additional work, Jill has endured several suspensions due to missed practices and has sometimes been known to remark she has a much keener fondness for the arcade as people there can actually present something of a challenge. It would be wrong to call Jill boastful or too proud, but the simple fact that pretty much every competitor she's come up against doesn't prove a challenge has made her entirely nonchalant towards the entire sport... however, with the advent of the new co-captain for Caspian High's Second Girl Squad, all of that could change rather quickly...

This is really only my second portrayal of Jill and I'm pretty pleased with it over all. Lineart and colors were done in openCanvas, with after-effects and touch-ups done in Photoshop Elements 2.0
