I imagine it's truly and totally gauche to celebrate a kiriban early, but I'm both:
A) Not going to let the first Kiriban I ever do be outdated the moment I upload it
&
B) Not going to be making a kiriban for each and every thousand; sorry.
So ANYWAY! ~DynamiteKnight snagged my kiriban screen, and thusly won himself the choice of characters. Out of left field for you anime enthusiasts (not that I'm NOT, perse) he went ahead and choose Huntress from DC's Birds of Prey.
Concerned as I was that nobody would recognize the character, I asked if he was ok with the more well-known Catwoman being in the pic as well. Or maybe he suggested it... Well, whatever. Anyway, there you've got the origin story for the very beginning stages of this my first Kiriban pic.
Along with the idea that this pic needed to be raelly really swell, and the fact that I'm crazy much too pressed for time to do it myself, I asked around for some CG samples. Luckily enough, a colorist I quite admire from within the community ~ramzkun said he was willing to take a shot, and quickly and impressively colored the pic as shown.
Much thanks to , , and SPECIAL THANKS to for their help in getting this pic up.
And of course, a BIG thanks to everyone who stops by my silly little gallery. Means a lot! Here's to 67k MORE!
Huntress and Catwoman are both copyright DC, an imprint of AOL Time Warner... I think.
HA!! I love it! Being a comic fanboy m'self, I know of (and am a fan of) the divine madame Huntress. This is an excellent pic of Helena and Selina, fine work on the bodies (although the arms seem a little too short to me), and a very funny scenario. (I'm not sure what's going on, but it's still funny.)
Anyway, that's my compliments and hopefully constructive critique. Faved.

Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
